Stilla Ferrox
Water-based, highly absorbable food supplement drops.
It is important to be aware that some groups of people are particularly prone to iron deficiency:
- Women (especially if menstruation is associated with heavy bleeding)
- athletes
- dieters (dieting, ‘elimination’ diets – e.g. vegetarianism, veganism).
However, as stress is also an important risk factor, it is a good idea for everyone to check from time to time that they have enough iron in their blood to supply cells with the right amount of oxygen. The good news is that a three-month course of iron therapy can help to manage iron deficiency symptoms and eliminate anemia in most cases.
In addition to iron, Stilla Ferrox also contains high-purity fulvic acids, which ensure that the iron remains in an organic complex until it is absorbed into the body. The iron contained in Ferrox drops is thus utilized by the body at an extremely high rate and is maintained in the correct oxidation state, as only Fe2+ can transport oxygen – therefore not a drop is wasted.
Recommended Intake: for best absorption, it is recommended to be taken in the morning, mixed with water. To optimize absorption avoid acidic and caffeinated beverages for one hour before and after consumption.
Avoid simultaneous intake of antibiotics and iron. Iron impedes antibiotic absorption, potentially delaying expected recovery.
If you’re using analgesics or anti-inflammatory medications, note that their active ingredients might harm the gastrointestinal lining in the presence of iron.
For best absorption do not combine iron with other dietary supplements.
* Iron deficiency and anemia can have a whole range of other symptoms, but none of them are exclusive to this condition. This is why it is important to first diagnose iron deficiency by taking a blood test before starting an iron supplement.
